2023 - The year of the Dinks

2023 was a banner year for us. As you may know, when we got married Liv refused to take my name. I strongly considered ending the relationship over this slight. But I got over it. And after much deliberation we decided to change both our names. Introducing Olivia and Travis Dink (still sterile, don't ask people about their reproductive plans, it is rude).

We had a lot of fun this year.

I bought a drop top. It's a 20+ year old Mercedes so you know it was a good decision. Also I don't really fit in it. But I bought it in Reno, drove home a roundabout way that included making awesome donuts on the Alvord lakebed. Liv got to enjoy several girls weekends to catch up on gossip and true crime.

I became a big time tuna fisherman (zero fish caught so far). Liv binged VPR while I was out to sea. And we are part-time fostering a geriatric cattle dog. Liv had the house painted a super dark blue. It is the color of her heart.
